About me
Hello. My name is Tina Zellmer. I am an illustrator since 2000, studied illustration and design in the Netherlands and Ireland. After I graduated, I travelled extensively, collecting inspiration from all corners of the globe, influencing my illustration style. Based in Berlin now, I freelance as an illustrator and lecture on illustration and art.
In my work, I combine collage, painted textural effects, photography and handmade ink drawing to produce visually-exciting images. Using line, paint stains, and ink washes, I create illustrations that have a weathered look. My images show multiple layers of information.
My editorial illustrations can be found in newspapers and magazines - and in broadcast and product ads internationally.
