ABOUT


My name is Inge Hauser. I am an illustrator, artist and the creator of a lovely little heroine called Lotta - the card girl. Lotta was born out of my deep longing to create little moments of happiness, warmth and connection in our hectic and increasingly digital world.

Lotta is a cheerful, curious and adventurous girl. With her sunny yellow coat that shines from afar and her red adventure boots that go with her wherever she goes, she embodies my ideal companion. Lotta's world is colorful and she looks at it with open eyes, humor and unbridled love in her heart.

Through her, I discover again and again how precious and touching it is to give other people small gestures of joy - for me, my favorite way is with handwritten postcards. Every card that Lotta sends on her travels opens a door to her very own magical world. It's a world where flowers talk to each other, animals give wise advice, imaginative birds flutter around in magical worlds, stuffed animals are best friends and much more. Lotta is full of unbridled imagination.
