As with every year, Creativepool will hold a series of events and activations at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in 2019, and you can be part of it.
The Creativepool content team will be in and around Cannes in June offering a unique selection of features in the form of written, video and podcast material as well as a host of events.
Following last year’s soirée on the terrace at Hotel Le Canberra, Connect Cannes is an exclusive, invite-only event for leading brand and agency reps to network and socialise.
It offers an opportunity to spark conversations with key decision makers, influencers and peers and picks up where the inaugural Connect London festival left off in November.
Off the beaten path of the Croisette, the venue is the perfect place to unwind, recharge and forge connections. Our guests are always the cream of the international brand and creative community.
Last year, the list included names from Grey, Unilever, Getty, BMW, RGA, Sapient, Geometry Global, 72andSunny, Pepsi, Smoke & Mirrors and more. It takes place from 5pm on Thursday 20 June and you can see last year's photos here.
As part of the Creativepool Annual, each year a panel of judges selects the 100 most influential people of the year for inclusion in the book and coverage in the magazine.
With such a global selection of names there really is only one place for us to celebrate with them in person and the event takes place at the Cartlon Beach in Cannes.
The lunch is an opportunity to engage and network with some of the most influential in the business. See this year’s shortlist here.
Our founder, Michael Tomes, is a keen motorcyclist and has ridden across the globe from Vietnam to New Zealand. Each year, he takes his bike to Cannes for the Lions festival and in 2019 will launch a new interview series called The Motorcycle Diaries.
Following Creativepool’s successful Black Cab Interviews featuring some of advertising’s best in London, New York and Singapore, The Motorcycle Diaries will take the more adventurous route of a jaunt around Cannes.
The feature will take in the sights as he interviews passengers while filming from a host of bike and helmet mounted cameras.
The Creative Debates concept was introduced as a tonic to the endless one-way talks on offer at events. Debates tackle some of the most difficult questions and topics currently being faced by the industry and based on a school debating model.
It's a fun and insightful part of our programme that produces snackable content and press coverage during the festival. Sessions start at 10am on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
As an official media partner of Cannes Lions, each year Creativepool has direct access to key speakers at the festival for all video and audio content we publish. Getting involved as a sponsorship partner provides a legacy of involvement at the event.
Input can also be given on who is featured in sponsored interviews as well as an opportunity to meet our interviewees during the process. For sponsorship opportunities, please contact Emeka Collins.
