Crank up the volume and enjoy the McLaren P1 pushed through a high speed rally run - captured through a series of fast, drone-style cinematic shots.

This project was a lot of fun to work on, especially the cinematics. Instead of relying on motion capture or simulation, the car and camera were carefully keyframe animated to create the speed, weight and rhythm I wanted for each shot.

My role covered the project from cinematics planning through final delivery:
• Cinematic reference gathering & shot planning
• Car rig setup in Unreal Engine
• Set Dressing
• Car & camera animation
• Lighting, Color/look development & rendering
• Lens effects and compositing in Nuke
• Editing & final color grading in DaVinci Resolve

The environment and McLaren P1 model were sourced from Unreal Marketplace and Sketchfab and then used as the foundation for building the cinematic sequence.

The goal was simple - make the P1 feel fast, aggressive and fun to watch.
