This project explores the creation of a cinematic sci-fi environment, focusing on lighting, atmosphere, and large-scale world building.

Developed using a USD-based workflow in Houdini Solaris, the goal was to combine procedural flexibility with high-quality cinematic output. The layout is inspired by the dam sequence from The Creator, while the lighting blends natural sunset conditions with a stylized sci-fi look.

The scene was rendered using Karma with multi-pass EXR (ACES workflow), composited in Nuke, and finalized in DaVinci Resolve.

This project also marks a transition from a real-time workflow to a more procedural pipeline, focusing on scalability and creative control.
