4D Body Mapping is a technology developed by the German company Schöffel to create sportswear that fits perfectly to the body and allows for greater freedom of movement. 4D Body Mapping is based on a detailed analysis of human anatomy and the movements that are performed during different sports activities. This information is used to design garments with different cuts and materials depending on the needs of each area of the body. For example, in a 4D Body Mapping ski jacket, the arms will have a wider cut to allow for greater freedom of movement when skiing. Additionally, more breathable materials will be used in areas that are more prone to sweating.
