ABOUT

A precise model of my Asus N550 - on which i made this model -, done in Maya and Keyshot for the modelling, rendering and lightning and Photoshop for the texturing part. I was inspired by Microsoft only using Keyshot to make the images used in the marketing of the Surface 2, done only in a fortnight, so I challenged myself to something similar and modelled my notebook, as I had the chance to measure everything and build it in a correct size and accurate details, even the fonts match, it`s Futura. To simulate the led-lights in Keyshot i made a 32 bit HDR image based on the texture i used to project the fonts onto the keyboard and essentially created a led-array texture which i used as an emissive texture in Keyshot. The main colour of choice was also deliberate as it is also the main colour of Autodesk.

I am however not affiliated with Asus, this was a personal project.
