About me

Igor was born in Milan Italy and studied Fine Arts and Illustration in Barcelona Spain, before moving to London to start an MA in Communication Design at Central Saint Martins. While doing that he started designing in 1999 for new media and interactive advertising at Grey Interactive.

In the middle of the dot com crash in 2001 he freelanced for the following 2 years working on games, interactive campaigns and interactive TV platforms between London and Milan.

In 2004 he contracted for a year at Sapient exploring the UX world re-developing UK's Department of Health web platform.
He then moved into product development at NDS (now Cisco) to work on a research project for a new approach at interactive TV gaming awarded with an industry innovation award.

At the end of 2004 he joined AKQA London working on the Orange and Nike accounts. Soon after moves to Singapore, becoming Creative Director of AKQA's Singapore office easing the transition integrating with ATL agency Asatsu DK. There he has been responsible for the APAC launch of the XBOX 360 brand.

Back in London uses his integrated agency experience to lead the digital arm of DLKW winning key digital business by the likes of BAA's Heathrow Airport, HBOS digital financial services (RBS, Halifax, HBOS) and SAB MIller beer brands including Peroni.

Missing the digital R&D in 2008 he freelances at Digit london joining them soon after as Associate Creative Director working on the rebrand of Digit itself, Nokia, Eden Project, and the then uprising iPhone apps.

He joins iris worldwide as Deputy Creative Director in 2009 back in the integrated marketing world driving innovation for local and global accounts by the likes of Sony mobile, VW Commercial Vehicles UK, Speedo, Adidas and Reckitt Benkiser brands.

After 4 years he lands at R/GA London in 2013 creatively leading the Microsoft and O2 accounts surrounded by people that brought the agency to be awarded Campaign and Creative Review Agency of the Year 2014.
