I think one of the things I underestimated when I started designing labels was how different something can look on screen compared to the actual printed label.
You can spend ages getting everything just right, and then something tiny catches you out. The text is a little too small. The colour prints differently. The barcode needs more space. Or the measurements you were given aren't quite right.
So now, before I send anything off, I check it again. And usually again after that.
It’s actually one of the reasons I made my Artwork Checker. Just a simple way to catch some of those little things before the artwork goes to print.
I'm still learning as I go — every project seems to teach me something new.
And I think that's probably my favourite part of it.
