The brief was to create a short animation featuring a character that children can engage with to help spread the message about the importance of getting the flu vaccine. The aim was to show that the flu vaccine protects people from the flu virus and getting the flu vaccine is like wearing a protective armour against flu.

The result is a bright and colourful animation with a not too scary Fred Flu character who tries to infect a child with flu but fails as the child is protected by the flu vaccine.
