My previous role was with Practical Law Company, a digital and paper publisher, with offices in London and New York, and operating in over 90 countries. I reported to the Commercial director and liaised with stakeholders at director level both internally and externally.

I have held a number of commercial positions, and consider myself to be a commercial all-rounder. My most recent position was as head of the international division. I was effectively running a business unit with full responsibility for p&l, staff, and startegy I have experience of managing large teams and budgets, as well as business planning, strategic marketing and business development.

I have broad experience in driving business, developing new products and opening new markets. I have been responsible for product life cycle, rebranding, and market positioning. I have conducted extensive competitor analysis projects and have wide experience of commercial partnering and syndication.

I have strong leadership experience, having run a department of 40 with full responsibility for budget, salary and training. I am well versed in developing, training, and motivating staff, establishing departmental targets, KPIs and procedures, and communicating strategies and successes between the board and the business.
