Every day, we unconsciously scroll through social media, repeatedly
experiencing and seeking short, intense bursts of stimulation.This
process releases dopamine, giving the brain temporary satisfaction,
which then keep us to continue scrolling social media unconsciously.
This digital motion graphic work aims to give viewers a chance to
reflect on this unconscious scrolling behavior. It visually captures
the journey of dopamine activity in the brain during social media use
and depicts how we become progressively immersed in the endless
scroll.
