ABOUT
I was commissioned by my client to re-brand his Hampshire-based estate agency. The brief was to redesign the ‘For Sale’ and ‘To Let’ boards with a new corporate identity. This included a redesign of the logo that could be applied to the aforementioned boards as well as the website, letterheads and business cards.
I worked with the client to produce an identity that kept the original heritage of the brand but more modern and forward-thinking. The logo itself was changed from a serif to a sans serif typeface. The bold weight adds impact whilst the rounded edges of the sans serif gives a contemporary and legible feel.
With the ‘For Sale’ and ‘To Let’ signs, I kept the purple colour palette to carry on with the tradition of the company but simplified down the design, making the ‘Johnson Wood’ the focus of the boards. This is so they keep the brand recognition but show they are moving forward as a brand.
The re-brand has been put into immediate effect, with the boards being made and the new logo replacing the original on the website. Future developments include a complete redesign of the website, business cards and all other aspects of their corporate identity.
