ABOUT
'THE INFINITE TOYBOX' is an all-ages comic that incorporates multiple genres. At it's heart it's a vibrant science fiction comedy reminiscent in tone to 80's movies like 'Back to the Future' married to classic Saturday morning cartoons.
Goals
- Create a logo and branding that would consistanly run though out the book whilst fitting into the story, art style and science fiction themes that would also work on an array of collateral..
- Create character concept art, cover art, logo designs, as well as pencile and ink the interior art works.
- Liase and direct the colourist and letter to fit into the style brief
Process
This project started out as a meeting witht the writer and we brainstormed character ideas and mechanics of the universe. With this information i created character concepts for the book and once the story was finalised i started work on pencilling the interior art work working to a script.
After the pencils were finalised i inked the book up and sent final artwork to the colourist and letter to be finished up.
The logo and cover art went through several stages and finalised to full colour, ready to be send to the printers.
