About me
To Whom It May Concern:
I am a graduate journalist with over two years experience in print and digital publishing and have had numerous articles, features and interviews published in national magazines and websites.
In my time as Editor of TNT Downunder and New Zealand the company's Facebook likes doubled, its Twitter followers trebled and I was consistently tracking higher SEO numbers across the website content.
I was also responsible for the writing, sub-editing and photo placing of a monthly Australian magazine and a quarterly New Zealand publication. As the only full-time editorial member of staff, I also worked in close concert with a number of interns as well as professional freelance writers who were based out of office. In my time at TNT I never missed a single deadline.
I arrived in London via Hong Kong where I spent three months working as an editorial consultant on new Hong Kong based lifestyle magazine: Ecozine. In my three months with the team there I provided all manner of editorial work from conducting interviews, sub-editing articles and helping managing their quickly growing social media channels.
I moved to the United Kingdom about five months ago. I'm currently doing some part-time work with Top Gear Magazine's online division based at the BBC in White City. I've also been doing some freelance music writing and reviewing with two websites: Inveterate and Tomorrowaudio both based in London. I have also been writing for The News Hub as a freelance technology, media and sports writer.
I feel that due to my various skills - which I hope can be seen in my CV - I would be the perfect candidate for the advertised role and I hope to interview for the position as soon as is possible.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Hugh Radojev
