About me
Having graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in English Literature, I am hard-working, articulate, and have demonstrated the ability to work independently to meet assignment deadlines. Since graduating, I have tried my hand at various writing styles: interning at the BBC, I managed BBC World Service's Social Media presence across all channels via Hootsuite. Currently, alongside my senior sales role at Jigsaw, I write for the online social global-news platform, Blasting News, where I write my own news-based stories, and edit other articles that have been submitted before they are published. I also write a weekly fitness and nutrition comedy blog for a local personal training business. The experience of both my English Literature degree, and my journalistic experience so far, has fuelled my enthusiasm to apply my skills in a media-based career path where communicative expertise, creativity, and self-discipline will be utilised and valued.
