On the lead up to the Christmas 2016, I was tasked with designing unique, festive greetings cards. Global Autocare asked for 3 designs; one for garage customers, one for clients and one for internal staff.

For the garage customer card I began by sketching ideas incorporating garage/mechanics into Christmas. I decided to create a bauble made up of lots of garage related icons (which i then created in adobe illustrator), keeping the colour scheme within the brand guidelines.

For the client card I created an image of a snowy cottage to maintain the feel of a classic Christmas card, and designed a Christmas wreath made of a car tyre, to give a subtle automotive spin.

For the internal card we decided to go for something simple to convey the message clearly, as this was to be distributed over email. Once I had the desired content, I began experimenting with the typographical layout and style to make the text aesthetically appealing.
