ABOUT

'Bella vita' is a UK based charity which focuses on providing support and improving the lives of older people. They believe that through the creation of social groups and local networks that they can help to reduce feelings of isolation and depression often found in older people and help to build more independent and resilient communities.

Objectives:
- Design a simple and intuitive app for older people.
- This app would promote their community groups by advertising events, enable people to easily sign up for classes in their local area and help to build wider social networks.
- App must use a simple layout and colourful user interface that viewers can easily navigate.

In order to complete this I first began looking into pre-existing applications targeted at the elderly, and began sketching layouts/styling for the application. When designing the logo I chose a clear and legible typeface, with a simple icon to represent the social element of the application. I decided to keep the navigation simple and clean, using unique icons with assigned colours to represent the different features clearly.
