I have the knowledge and experience when designing but as my thirst for knowledge continues I would love to broaden my awareness. After recently finishing an internship, I am eagerly seeking my next creative challenge, I have read and reviewed your vacancy and I accept the challenge.
The experience of working with the PDSA to rebrand their Headingley store taught me the importance of design and what it truly means to design and the difference it can make, even to a non-profit organisation. My love and passion for design drives my work, not money and this charity based project brought that to light.
Shape, colour and texture never fail to steal all my attention away, especially when it comes to my underlying interest and enthusiasm for packaging, stemming from an early age; the desire to create unseen, original concepts.
My degree had a much greater art direction than the norm, making it a superior 'hands on' course, helping me to grasp the more 'traditional' side of design; pencil and paperesque design before turning my attention to the digital side. After all you need to learn to walk before you can run. My latest project saw the fusion of both origami and geometry of a 3D object transformed into a 2D digital format. This ability to construe one dimension into another gives my work an original concept. It is this edge that will enable me to flourish in your company.
I know that I could learn a considerate amount within your capable hands but principally I would bring something to the table and I'm not referring to my great baking skills. I endeavour to learn, develop and grow.
