Hoi Polloi Director Dan Castella teamed up with the Guardian Labs and TSB to create 3x comedian fronted videos featuring Mo Gilingan, Miles Jupp and Shappi Khorsandi.

The idea for the campaign came from the insight that people are more likely to switch their spouse than their bank. As well as Guardian readers being 64 times more likely to read relationship content than banking content.

In the films, each comedian describes what made them call it quits on an ex-partner. The three funny tales helped Guardian Labs to win banking category in this year's Campaign Media Awards 2019.
