ABOUT

Based in Dundee, Isought influence from the city’s rich history to help create my webcomic, with a focus on some of its famous landmarks. The video game details throughout the comic are based on the previous exhibition on video games: Design/Play/Disrupt, offering an exploration of how both comics and video games can be disrupted by overlapping them.
I also took inspiration from my own dog for the character of Chumpie, who proved to be a valuable model and avid supporter of the comic’s production.
Valuing simple lines, backgrounds and colour palettes, I hoped to make my comic accessible and enjoyable to a wide audience who can share in my appreciation of the juxtaposition of modern video game elements and historical landmarks.
