ABOUT
‘By Gen-Z, For Gen-Z’; Once Girls aims to act as an ‘older sister’ to it’s readers - therefore, all content is created by older Gen-Z creatives: photographers, illustrators and writers who provide their personal outlook on girlhood. The magazine aims to act as a source of comfort, helping young girls (aged 13-17) navigate their formative years. - Zara Tuck
For this magazine I was featured as a photographer and lighting co-ordinator as well as assisting and production. In this project I was chosen because of my technical knowledge of both studio lighting and ambient lighting. I gained experience in creating images based on a strict photographic brief focusing on lighting techniques both environmentally and studio based. This magazine won the “Tag your talent” award for Graduate Fashion Week and the “Terry Mansfeild Award for Fashion Publication” at Graduate Fashion Week.
