The blues label Straight Shooter asked me to come up with this design for the artist Big Creek Slim. They wanted a sustainable way to produce an album cover for ‘Slim’s live albums so we ended up on this hand-folded cover printed on recycled Kardus paper. We looked to old blues posters for inspiration and the “stamped” look is a nod to the old american blues roots that are evident in the music of Big Creek Slim.
