Dear Sir/Madam,

I am applying for the role of Digital Marketing Executive.

I graduated from the University of Kent in 2013 and since June this year I've been employed as Marketing Manager at We Connect Students, a web-based, self-service recruitment platform based in the City of London. Originally a KPI-based, 3 month contract, my employment has been extended owing to high performance. Whilst working in the role I've accumulated many skills and attributes that I believe will be beneficial both to this job and your organisation.

In my role as Marketing Manager at We Connect Students I've attracted over 2,000 targeted Student and Graduate registrations to the site each month. I've created conditional email marketing campaigns to support the various products that the business offers, as well as manage prospective clients and candidates. I've created and managed social media strategies, attracting in excess of 1,000 followers each month. I've managed and supervised a small but proactive marketing team in creating and managing CRM and targeted PPC campaigns, whilst personally administering a £19,000 quarterly budget.

I have a huge amount of technical knowledge, most of which is detailed in my attached CV, I'm more than comfortable using most Windows and Apple Mac software and maintain an advanced level in all Microsoft Office based applications, Photoshop, Image Ready and Sony Vegas. I've designed and produced a range of websites across a multitude of platforms and I'm well versed in content management.

From my previous work experience I've picked up many strengths that I believe will be beneficial to working in this role. My degree has rendered me excellent research skills and a great standard of written and spoken English. I've had significant customer service experience and thus I am comfortable talking to people both remotely and face to face.

I have experience in both working on my own, as part of and managing a team, and I know how to prioritise work and organise my own workload to cope during demanding phases. I'm a hard worker and I enjoy creating a positive and friendly atmosphere.
