This is an especial project made for a traditional event in Catalonia (Spain).
Every 23rd of April, is the day of book but, what is more is the day where the Sant Jordi legend is celebrated. The legend says that a princess was captured by a Dragon and a cavalier went with a sword to save her from the terrible Dragon. The cavalier killed the dragon hammering the sword into his heart and from the blood was bubbleeing from the wound turning to a rose when the blood got the ground. From this point, every 23rd of April, the tradition is give a rose to women and a book to men. Nowadays, the tradition turns to be adapted to actual times and now boys could have a rose as a gift and girls preferred a book or both could have both things as a gifts. In conclusion, in Catalonia is the real day of love when partners demonstrate their love.
