In Afghanistan, ongoing conflict has left thousands of people with no financial security and limited access to food. As a result, thousands of children have no choice but to leave their education, their families and their homes in search of work.

Hélène traveled to Afghanistan with War Child in late 2020 to produce a visual campaign for War Child UK’s Torn from Home fundraising appeal, dedicated to those children. She produced a series a photos and tailor-made social media videos (Facebook, Instagram) for the fundraising appeal.
