Prior to being an award-winning Creative Director, Helen was a Governor General Award winning Architect. Her passion for integrated branding has helped shape her multi-disciplinary career for close to 20 years. Helen's holistic approach has helped transform some of the most loved and trusted brands.
Helen has worked at agencies including Saatchi, Taxi, Ogilvy, and as Creative Director at Strawberryfrog in Amsterdam where she developed the global relaunch for Pharmacia Upjohn, and the relaunch of Elle. At Ogilvy, Helen was on the original global team for the highly recognized Dove Campaign for Real Beauty, launching it in Canada and creating campaigns for North America and Europe.
At Havas, Helen oversaw a cross-disciplinary, integrated team across offices in Toronto and Montreal with a mission to create meaningful connections between consumers and brands through creativity, media and innovation.
Prior to Havas, Helen worked at Facebook and Instagram as a Creative Strategist and Creative lead, working closely with clients, marketing teams and agencies to activate their brands on the world's largest social platform.
Her work has been recognized at major national and international award shows, with longer format online films awarded at The Toronto International Film Festival, HotDocs, the Genies, and Palm Springs film festival.
Helen has sat on multiple juries including the One Show, D&AD, Jury chair for the Clios' Innovation/Integrated jury, New York Festivals, Communication Arts, Atomic, ADCC, CMA, Marketing Awards, FITC and Ad Stars in Asia.
She is also active within the Canadian Advertising community, a recurring portfolio juror for the RGD, is on the Board of Directors for the Advertising & Design Club of Canada, as well as previously being a mentor at George Brown College's Design School. She was also recently featured on a Google initiative "Lead by Women Will" podcast on female leadership.
