Hi,

I'm replying to your ad of 30 November for a freelance proofreader. I am Chapterhouse-trained and have over ten years of solid proofreading experience, working on a variety of projects including websites, promotional and educational/academic materials, books and ebooks.

I consider my greatest strengths as a proofreader to be a solid grounding in grammar, spelling and punctuation, attention to detail and a keen eye for 'typos'. As you will see from my CV, I also have experience in editing/copyediting and various other fields including online content development.

I'm equally comfortable working on screen or hard copy and am a highly organised and motivated worker who is accustomed to working at speed and under pressure. I am based in Leicester, but commuting and short-term relocation are both possible for me as alternatives to home-based work, and I am able to be flexible in terms of work flow.
