Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to apply for the role of Content Editor (Women & Beauty) at House of Fraser.

I have been writing for websites and working with social media since 2006, and during that time have worked for brands including Stylist, ShortList, Virgin Media, Channel 4 and both the print and online versions of More and Bliss magazines. Ive been freelance since June 2010 and recently spent seven months working on the launch of Stylist.co.uk, and Im currently working on the social media output and managing post-show Twitter and Facebook chats for the Channel 4 series Four Rooms. I also regularly freelance for the Daily Star, covering launches and celebrity events for their showbiz pages.

Before going freelance I spent two years as a Content Editor at digital agency Que Pasa, managing mobile editorial campaigns and writing lifestyle, shopping, fashion and entertainment pieces for Virgin Media, Channel 4 and E4.

As a self-confessed web geek, Im always on the lookout for the latest social media trend or addictive blogs to add to my Google Reader. When Im not working, I can be found blogging at *.
