About me

Helen was born in Cornwall in 1978 and grew up in around the UK and briefly Australia before going to university in York to study English and History of Art. After nearly ten years working as an Account Director in boutique marketing agencies for various youth brands in London she returned to education to study in Glasgow for an HND in photography. After finishing she returned to London to continue to build her business as a social photographer covering events for commercial clients and weddings in a reportage style plus private portraiture.

Through 2013 and 2014 she worked alongside another photographer and writer to produce a book on Eastern European Spa and Wellness Culture: Healing Sources; from the Baltic to the Black Sea (published by Prestel)

Commercial clients include: Jack Daniel's, Captain Morgan, Canopy & Stars, Miller, Pernod Ricard, Perrier Jouet, Co Op, Chivas among others as well as a number of PR and marketing agencies
