Forest Floor is a deeply observed surface pattern collection built around three delicate plants found on the forest floor: oak fern, wood sorrel and hair-cap moss. Inspired by my childhood growing up in Finland and the explorations to the forest I played at.

Hand-drawn in fine ink detail and developed into a pattern collection using a limited Nordic forest palette, in an Art Nouveau-inspired style. It is inspired by biophilic design principles of bringing outdoors in and emphasising the importance of nature connection in our lives.
