About me

I am applying for this vacancy as I have recently graduated in Graphic design/visual communication and am looking for a job that will challenge my abilities as a fresh design graduate. I feel that I am ideal for this role as I am keen to learn new skills and easy to mould into a designer to suite any company. Although I have my own unique style of work, I can easily adapt to another companies and I have learnt this from previous work experience. I am comfortable and confident working independently or as a team and always willing to contribute ideas which may help projects and outcome/ideas.
I recently completed work experience with George at ASDA, where I was working in the boys wear/ ladies wear department creating slogans and graphics to be printed on to t-shirts. As this job requires me to do the same I feel that I would be ideal for this position as I have had experience in this area and understand what consumers and companies are looking for. I am also up to date with fashion trends and keep up to date on fashion lines and clothing websites such as asos, Next, Debenhams, etc.
I have had many years experience with design software on Mac and PC such as Adobe Photoshop, illustrator. In Design and recently had some experience with flash and Dreamweaver creating my personal website. Other applications I am able to use confidently are word, excel, PowerPoint and the internet/safari.
As I have recently graduation I have been doing freelance work, as design is my passion. In my spare time I do live projects for companies and enter design competitions. I am a confident young individual who always thrives for success in anything I do. I am passionate about design and willing to adapt and learn new techniques and skills.
