We were initially engaged to rebuild the front end of an existing iOS app, attaching to existing APIs. The design of the app was severely outdated so after suggesting a number of quick wins, the client requested we refresh the UX and UI on key parts of the app to bring it up to date with current iOS design standards.

After seeing multiple issues with the way the APIs had been written, in terms of coding standards, missing functionality and ease of integrating them into the front end, we took on a full rewrite of the API dataset as well as rebuilding the data structure.

The app has evolved substantially from the original scope, which was to recreate the functionality of the existing app, as well as the client both suggesting new functionality and taking on some of the enhancements we suggested along the way.

The first craze went live at the start of March 2016.
