Carvel, a product that draws attention to human pollution with the earth’s oceanic ecosystems. Inspired by the Portuguese Man-O-War, which attracts so many with its visual appearance, it seems an appropriate form to attract an awareness to the destruction of the ocean. Implementing a colour changing glow, this ceramic and glass light, aims to entice users in to its surroundings and draw them in turn to the beauty of marine life forms, and the destruction human pollution is having on its existence.
