About me

Harry Cheesman is a recent graduate with both an LLB in Law and LLM in Labour Law from King's College London. Having recently gained some journalism experience at base.ad (a music magazine) he is now seeking an entry level job as either a journalist or copywriter, in order that he may make his living doing the thing he loves. He feels that his unique background, having been at various points a postgraduate law student, a salesman, a market researcher, a musician and a music journalist, demonstrates a winning combination of intellect, hard work, creativity and writing ability which makes him an ideal yet unusual candidate for such positions. He believes, like most young journalism candidates, that he will thrive in an atmosphere where his creative impulses can be satiated, yet recognises the extent to which such individual creativity must be circumscribed in a business environment, in order that a viable product be created.

Finally it should be noted that, away from the material and status attractions a career as a writer holds for him, Harry has a desire to continue writing and to continue improving his writing abilities and intends to write, in one form or another, for the rest of his life. He awaits the opportunity fulfil his writing ambition, which is both professional and personal in nature.
