ABOUT
Concept:
The brief was self-initiated to design a hardware solution that reduces attention loss in desk-based work environments without removing smartphone utility. The insight identified that the physical act of reaching for a phone, not the phone itself, is the primary trigger for context switching.
Execution:
Developed end-to-end across behavioural research, industrial design, and interaction design. Designed in Autodesk Fusion 360 and Figma, with a 135° adjustable base, gasket-fit bezel, wireless charging integration, ambient light sensing, and a passive pattern recognition layer that adapts to user behaviour over time.
Result:
A resolved, patent-pending hardware concept demonstrated through 3D modelling, interaction design, and design specification. Details available on request, as showcased on my website.
