Brief
Develop a contemporary womenswear garment using creative pattern-making techniques, exploring unconventional construction and silhouette development.

Concept & Approach
Inspired by The Silent Patient, the collection explores duality, hidden identity and the contrast between outward appearance and inner reality. Black, white and translucent materials were used to express concealment, transformation and vulnerability.

Development
Experimented with creative pattern cutting, layered construction and transformable details to create different ways of revealing and concealing the body. Multiple silhouettes were developed through fashion illustration before moving into garment development.

Outcome
A contemporary collection combining experimental pattern cutting with a psychological narrative, resulting in sculptural silhouettes that explore transformation and duality.
