Brief
Develop an original avant-garde fashion look exploring Indian cultural identity through contemporary garment construction, experimental materials and theatrical silhouette.

Concept & Approach
Inspired by Theyyam and its ritualistic transformation, I explored fire, movement and divine metamorphosis through sculptural forms, layered textiles and contrasting materials. The design translates these references into a dramatic contemporary silhouette rather than directly reproducing traditional costume.

Development
Developed the concept through research, material exploration, sketches and draping, experimenting with layered fabrics, sculptural elements, asymmetry and exaggerated proportions.

Outcome
A fully developed avant-garde look combining experimental construction, surface detail and theatrical styling, supported by process development and final garment execution.
