Belques is a brand extension of SabaFon telecommunication that targets Yemeni women. This brand empowers Yemeni women in forming a network. Influencing and inspiring each other and making a difference in the society.
'Belques' is the Queen once ruling the Sabaean Kingdom. It is through her women are encouraged to stand for the causes they believe in. Accordingly the campaign with the name اناـبلقيس# was established, meaning Iam_Belques. This communication hashtag allows Yemeni women to share their stories, personal, professional or sharing an awareness. No matter what their background, educational, professional or personal status is, they are all a Belques.
Developing the logo, I emphasis in the 'Q' to resemble the royalty of her name. Additionally, the 'Q' is long and geometrical in shape, in similarity with the Himyaritic characters used in the kingdom.
