ABOUT

This project began by coming up with a ‘golden thread’ which turned out to be intrinsic to the look and feel of the brand. The idea being that Omni-ID could find a needle in a haystack, as long as the needle had an RFID tag embedded in it. This was reflected in the visual of a shoal of fish, with one highlighted in orange contained in a viewfinder to show that Omni-ID could zone into just one thing out of thousands.
Changing the logo was not in the original remit of the rebrand, but we felt that the colour palette needed a refresh to bring it up to date with the new artwork. To keep that professional/technology driven feel, we opted for a navy blue, which was contrasted with a bright orange to reflect their innovative side. The secondary palette included a mid range blue and yellow with each colour named after something in nature to match the theme.
The brand implementation then began with the website; by creating wireframes, which were fleshed out with imagery and copy before designing a set of icons that would work both digitally and in print. Working with a clear sitemap from the get-go, we were able to determine how we could use each page to its full potential, incorporating visual language, animation and CTAs to highlight the benefits of Omni-ID.
