ABOUT
Background:
Hong Kong(HK) has high-density living spaces and a lack of work-life balance. However, vacant industrial buildings left from the 50s-70s were utilised by creatives until the government intervened.
Brief:
Create a service that makes use of industrial buildings for the benefit of the creative industry in Hong Kong.
Solution:
Designed a co-living/co-working condominium that locates within an industrial building for creatives to explore and express themselves within a community and to the general public. The visual Identity derived from the iconic HK social/visual elements from the 50s-70s(60s plastic flower & look and feel); reference to the city’s industrial buildings; the Chinese Idiom: Hundred Flowers Bloom Together; and the 60s Hippie movement(psychedelic colour and visuals & beliefs).
