Dear IHeart Studios,

I am writing to you with regards to the above position you have available advertised on Creativepool.co.uk. As you will see from my CV and portfolio for the last 4 years I have worked within a studio environment as both a photographer and studio assistant/manager for the UK's most popular fine watch site, Watchfinder (WF&Co) and an online web design consultancy Websolve.

Having worked within a studio as both a photographer and studio assistant I have established a good understanding of how fast paced this position can be. Delivering quick and efficient service to both studio staff and customers is a key factor in successful running and successful imagery. Having experience in using and setting up studio equipment and retouching images for both myself and others means I have a good understanding of creative capabilities whilst having the ability to adapt accordingly to different jobs and specifications. Surrounding myself with creative people in busy environments is what I enjoy best.

I was employed by Watchfinder to create a photography department and improve their online images. Using my skills set I developed their online product images, taking them from basic point and shoot photography to consistent, correctly lit high quality product images, this included introducing the company to 360 degree rotating images. Having successfully created this department I gained a member of staff who I trained to an appropriate level in order to assist in this field. I continued to further develop the department and established a new creative photography set up. Using beautiful lighting this allowed me to showcase the products in a much more creative way while enhancing the overall look and quality of the website. I was also part of a team who provided content for the companies' weekly online magazine - The Watch Magazine. Working alongside watch experts, style experts, manufactures and suppliers my role was to provide the magazine with creative imagery.

I'm looking to become part of a studio team using my skills to deliver good creative ideas and support, learn and develop new skills. I believe this position is very well suited to my experience, interests and qualifications and feel I could make a significant contribution to your studio team.
