Concept:
I was given a short clip of the music video for Spragga Benz track “Are Yuh Ready” featuring General Levy and asked to make a social media post to promo the release of the single.

Execution:
As the music video’s dimensions did not fit well into the square I decided to create a mirror effect by layering a stretched copy of the video below a smaller full size version which is placed across the middle.
I then placed a copy of the single cover at the end and as I was given a photoshop file of the cover I was able to extract the layers containing the text on it to animate them to appear over the music video. I also ensured they would appear in the exact same place they appear on the cover.
This created an effect where the graphics over the music video perfectly merge into an album cover at the end of the clip.

Result:
This video was highly commended by both record labels involved in the release and was posted by both Spragga Benz and General Levy alongside their respective labels social pages.
