Brief:
‘Does typography have to be legible to be deemed a successful design?'

Response:
Looking into the 1990’s in both UK and USA with projects such as ‘FUSE’ by Neville Brody and ‘RayGun’ by David Carson. Researched into illegible typography and how theses prolific designers created the trend, whilst finally determining whether or not a successful design can include illegible type. I then designed my dissertation with the inspiration of these publications.
