About me
I am seeking a career change from customer service to creative sector. I have been interested in creative activities like drawing, designing clothes, doing crafts since secondary school and fell in love with digital design during Degree in Business Computing. It was during Web Design module when we had to design our own web site, create graphics for it , etc. I loved all about it: using different colors, shapes, combinations, effects. This passion didn't leave me after I graduated. I completed a Diploma course in Graphic Design and gained knowledge in use of Adobe CS applications like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. Other modules included WordPress Adobe Premier Pro. Since 2004 I have been working as a volunteer graphic designer for Hammersmith Christian Fellowship. They needed someone to update their website and create a Facebook account. I offered to help and till now I am in charge of maintaining their website, doing Photography for them, editing images to suite the site, posting on their social media.
I am very enthusiastic when it comes to new projects. With creative flair, I am a visual thinker, very passionate about design and have can-do attitude. I am always keen to learn more and improve my skills. I have experience in working in a busy environment with people of different backgrounds. As a sociable and friendly person I enjoy working as a part of a team at the same time I can work on my own initiative. Being a problem solver, in times of crisis I often find the way out of the problem situation.
