About me
In my 13 years as an offline editor, I've edited over 100 hours of TV for a variety of different broadcasters including Channel 4, ITV, BBC One, MTV, Channel 5, and S4C. I've covered every genre from reality shows to documentaries, fixed rig, game shows, music programmes, cookery shows and sporting events, but I mostly enjoy cutting reality / fixed rig series, and shaping stories from hours of rushes.
I've been self employed since 2016 - before then, I was employed at various production companies in Wales for 9 years, mainly working on Welsh language shows. These days, I try to divide my time between England and Wales, most recently working on a BBC One New Year's Eve show in Manchester. My CV wishlist includes shows like The Apprentice, The Circle, Hunted and Race Across the World.
Whenever I'm not working, I grab my backpack and go travelling - I've been to 30+ countries, but the list of places I want to see still grows longer every year! I also enjoy socialising and meeting new people, probably due to the fact that most of my week is spent alone in a dark edit suite...
Interesting fact about me: I'm also the voiceover artist on a Welsh language series that I edit, so if you also require a gravelly voice with a thick Welsh accent - I'm your man!
