Hjacking the heartwarming 1982 film "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" and redirecting it as a tongue-in-cheek horror genre trailer started out as just an exercise in video editing, but progressed to adding motion graphics, VFX and audio effects, including the composition of an eerie ambient background track.
