The concept of the shoot was to display vintage denim in a clean editorial way, yet still embody the uniqueness of our customer. I picked models that had creative backgrounds ranging from singers to drag artists, and worked with each person to come up with outfits that best suited them. I shot in a daylight studio to add depth to the images, as studio lighting can have a tendency to look flat. The client intended on using the imagery solely for ecommerce use, but went on to display the images in light-boxes in their brick and mortar stores in the UK and Sweden.
