This episode of the Incredible Journeys series sees Arthur Williams travel to Kazakhstan in search of the country’s national animal: The snow leopard.

Arthur and his guide Saltore travel into the animal's natural habitat having heard reports of a recent sighting. However with only around 100 of the animals thought to be currently in the country, out of a population of only 10,000 worldwide, spotting one in the wilderness wasn’t going to be easy.

Back in the city of Almaty, Arthur visits the national carrier Air Astana who, inspired by Embraer’s painting of animals on their demonstrator aircraft, have decided to paint a snow leopard onto their new E2 Jet. Arthur meets the pilot of the jet to find out what people think of this unique livery.
