To whom it may concern

For the past year I have been working on various freelance projects including a pack of 40 children's recipe cards, a graduation brochure and related information pack, flyers, leaflets, and various signage.

For the previous eleven and a half years I held the position of Senior Designer/Studio Manager at Treehouse Children's Books. Throughout this time I have used an Apple Mac. I am conversant in Quark, Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator; liaising with suppliers, printers, printers agents, illustrators and illustrators agents. My responsibilities have entailed me working on every aspect of design from concept to finished art, including illustration ranging from simple styles to detailed work. Treehouse mainly produce board books with pop-ups, movements, soft toys or novelties; all of which I am experienced at designing. Over the years I have also trained junior designers.

My career prior to children's book design was fifteen years in some of the top design groups in London working on major accounts. These include Cadbury's, Kraft General Foods, Bernard Matthews, Eden Vale, Glen Livet Distilleries, Crabtree & Evelyn, etc. As you can imagine this has given me a sound foundation in all aspects of graphic design.
